In June 2025, our professional electric wheelchair manufacturing company participated in FIME in Miami—a premier medical device exhibition accessing the $4.2 billion North American mobility aid market. As a gateway to 30+ American and Latin American markets, it gathered 12,000+ buyers, including U.S. rehabilitation centers, Mexican distributors, and Brazilian home care providers, amid the region's 5.3% annual growth.

We showcased FDA 510(k)-cleared flagship models integrating smart obstacle avoidance, lightweight carbon-fiber frames, and 12-hour long battery life—aligning with the fair's "Innovative Mobility Solutions" theme and aging population needs. Our booth attracted over 60 potential partners, including Florida senior care chains, Texas medical suppliers, and Colombian procurement teams. Notably, 15 reached preliminary cooperation intentions, covering U.S. Southeast regional agency, Latin American distribution, and customized stair-climbing models. Direct interactions yielded critical market insights. U.S. buyers prioritized FDA certification validity, UL 2272 battery safety standards, and compatibility with Medicare reimbursement. Latin American clients focused on heat-resistant components for tropical climates and Spanish-English bilingual interfaces. Canadian partners emphasized cold-resistant batteries and compact designs for urban apartments. These feedbacks will guide our Americas-focused product optimization.

Additionally, the exhibition boosted our Western market credibility. By demonstrating compliance expertise and exchanging insights with industry leaders like Pride Mobility, we built trust among global buyers. We also gained clarity on emerging trends—such as brain-computer interface integration in mobility aids—and competitors' pricing strategies, supported by the fair's 25+ regulatory workshops. In summary, FIME 2025 was highly rewarding. It secured tangible cooperation opportunities, verified our FDA compliance readiness, and deepened understanding of regional demands. We will integrate these insights into product upgrades, accelerate post-510(k) follow-ups, and leverage connections to capture growth across North and Latin American markets.
